The Somali government administration in Lower Jubba province, southern Somalia, has nominated what it called a national committee for restoring government properties.
The nomination was made in a decree issued by the chairman of the Lower Jubba province, Ilyas Badal Gaboose. The decree indicated that the job of the committee that makes up 7 would be to oversee former government buildings which were occupied by internally displaced people.
The committee would also be responsible for bringing back the government landscapes currently occupied by shanties in the port city of Kismayu, about 500 km south of the capital Mogadishu.
